Job Description
What we are looking for: Direct responsibility; day to day, oversight and management of multi state, self insured, GL program. Day to day management of General Liability insurance claims; oversight and management of Third Party Administrator and Legal Counsel. Conduct in house claim investigations. Review contacts to determine if tender acceptances are warranted. Participate in GL mediations; actively negotiate claim resolution. Schedule and lead GL claims reviews with TPA and attorneys. Conduct monthly meetings with Operations team to discuss open claims and financial implications to company. Review loss runs for trends; analyze risk data, prepare monthly report for Executive Team. Partner with Safety Director and Operations Team to create site specific Risk Management plans. Request Certificate of Insurance from Broker and distribute. Qualifications/Required Experience 5 + years experience in liability claims handling and claim resolution. 5+ years experience in claims negotiation strategy. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Knowledge and understanding of contractual indemnification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail Oriented; self confident; self starter. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word. Claims designation a plus.
