Qualifications:

Investigate and evaluate insurance claims related to automobile accidents and or claims related to general liability insurance policies. Assess damages. Interview involved parties. Gather evidence. Determine the extent of the insurance company's liability. Investigating incidents. Negotiate settlements. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
7-10 years minimum prior claims experience with auto adjusting. Must be Louisiana licensed with experience handling Automobile/General Liability Adjuster Claims. Ability to perform the job functions under the supervision of others, while remaining acutely aware of goals, expectations, and deadlines. Ability to acquire a working knowledge of applicable rules and regulations and/or specialized industry knowledge related to the functional area. Provide Program technical assistance as applicable. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
