Job Description

Stop chasing invoices. Start winning claims. If you're the kind of person who loves closing the loop, owning the outcome, and negotiating like a pro, this role is for you. You'll help recover costs tied to third-party damage claims, working directly with liable parties and their insurance carriers to secure fair settlements.
What You'll Do:
Negotiate recovery for property/utility damage claims (phone, email, letters). Work with insurance providers and responsible parties to resolve settlements. Make 30-40 calls/day and maintain clean documentation in a claims database. Use 811 requirements, dig laws, and NESC standards to support liability claims. Review photos, field notes, job costs, sketches, and locate tickets to build your case. Stay organized using a calendar to manage claims twice weekly. Join weekly team meetings to sharpen strategies and hit goals.
What You Bring:
A competitive, accountable personality (you like to compete and win). Strong communication and negotiation skills. Collections, claims, insurance adjusting, recovery, or construction-related experience. Comfort using Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel and learning new tools fast.
Bonus:
Spanish bilingual or utility/cable/construction locate familiarity.
Schedule:
Early bird gets the worm (7:00am - 3:30pm EST, with lunch break) A couple days in our cool, office A couple days remote Base + robust commission program $100K total comp after 6 months.
