This is a production-focused analytical role with an expectation of adjudicating approximately 15-20 GAP claims per week , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. While this position is fully remote, candidates located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex are strongly preferred to allow for occasional in-person training, collaboration, or team meetings as needed. Although not primarily a high call-volume position, the adjudicator must be available to handle inbound phone calls throughout the day and confidently manage difficult or escalated conversations with professionalism and composure. Key Responsibilities Review and adjudicate approximately 15-20 GAP claims per week . Analyze insurance settlement documentation, retail installment contracts, payment histories, valuation reports, and cancellation refunds. Calculate claim benefits accurately, including verification of: Finance Benefit Limits, Deductible caps, Prior damage/condition adjustments, Excess financing limitations, Refund offsets and contractual exclusions Handle inbound calls as needed to explain claim decisions, documentation requirements, and calculation methodology. Professionally manage escalated or emotionally charged conversations. Maintain accurate and detailed claim notes in CRM and claims platforms. Utilize workflow management tools (including Monday.com) to track claim progress and workload. Ensure compliance with state regulations, contractual obligations, and internal audit standards. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient claim lifecycle management. Candidate Expectations Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude. High attention to detail and ability to interpret contractual language. Confidence explaining financial calculations clearly and professionally. Ability to remain calm and composed during difficult conversations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage workload independently in a remote setting. Organized, process-driven, and accountable.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred). 1-2 years of experience in claims adjudication, insurance, warranty, automotive finance, or a related field. Experience reviewing contracts, insurance settlements, or financial documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and cloud-based documentation platforms. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in GAP, vehicle service contracts, or automotive finance. Experience interpreting underwriting guidelines or regulatory documentation. Familiarity with valuation platforms (JD Power, KBB, CCC, etc.). Experience using Monday.com or similar workflow systems. Residence in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
