Job Summary The Multi-Line Claim Representative II is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving liability claims across multiple client accounts and industries. This role manages claims from assignment through resolution while ensuring compliance with Corporate Claim Standards, client-specific handling instructions, and applicable state laws. This position handles a diverse inventory of claims involving trucking liability, product liability, premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage exposures across multiple jurisdictions nationwide. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of moderate to high complexity and some litigation exposure. We're looking for a skilled adjuster who can balance strong technical claim handling with excellent customer service. Success in this role requires effective communication, strong diary and desk management, sound judgment, and the ability to build positive working relationships with clients, claimants, attorneys, and business partners.Please note:
This is a claims adjuster role, responsible for cradle‑to‑grave liability claim handling. It is not an HR, consulting, or employer‑side position. Responsibilities When we hire adjusters, we look for professionals who take ownership of their work, navigate complex claims with confidence, and deliver exceptional service with integrity. In this role, you'll manage your files independently while contributing to a collaborative, high‑performing team. What You'll Do Investigate, evaluate, and adjust liability claims from assignment through resolution Handle claims involving trucking, product liability, premises liability, bodily injury, and property damage Conduct liability investigations and evaluate coverage, damages, and exposure Establish and maintain reserves based on claim development and exposure analysis Review medical records, bills, legal documentation, and investigative materials Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and authorized representatives Coordinate with defense counsel and other vendors when appropriate Manage litigated files and assist with litigation strategy development Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities Prepare claim reports, reserve recommendations, and client communications Maintain timely diary management and claim documentation Deliver responsive, professional service to clients and stakeholders Ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Standards and client-specific requirements Qualifications What You Bring Required Valid adjuster licenses is required, TX license is preferred. 5+ years experience handling liability claims Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision‑making skills Ability to analyze coverage and communicate claim decisions clearly and professionally Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong accountability Reliable, predictable attendance during business hours Preferred Trucking liability claim handling experience Product liability claim handling experience Premises liability claim handling experience Litigation management experience Multi-jurisdictional claim handling experience Prior TPA experience Additional adjuster licenses Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus Why You'll Love Working Here 4 weeks (Paid time off that accrues throughout the year in accordance with company policy) + 10 paid holidays in your first year Comprehensive benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance Retirement plans : 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Career growth : Internal training and advancement opportunitiesCulture :
