PERSONAL LINES SUPERVISOR

Hybrid Local insurance agency is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Supervisor to lead and support its Personal Lines team. This is a working leadership role for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys staying involved with clients while also developing people, improving processes, and helping drive departmental success. The ideal candidate will bring strong Personal Lines expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to balance day-to-day client service with broader departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain relationships with an existing Personal Lines book of business Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to Personal Lines team members Assist consultants with account acquisition, servicing, and carrier quoting Hire, train, onboard, and develop new team members Serve as a resource for technical questions, problem-solving, and complex client needs Conduct quality assurance reviews and help ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely service Manage departmental projects and implement new initiatives Conduct employee performance reviews and participate in compensation discussions Evaluate team workloads and allocate resources to maintain efficiency and service levels Develop and improve department procedures, workflows, and processes Manage Personal Lines carrier relationships Evaluate technology and outsourcing opportunities designed to improve efficiency Lead monthly department meetings and communicate important updates and initiatives Coordinate continuing education and professional development opportunities Represent the Personal Lines team on company-wide innovation initiatives
Requirements:
7+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience Proven leadership, supervisory, or team management experience Strong knowledge of Personal Lines products, coverage, and agency operations Active Property & Casualty license with required continuing education Strong client service and relationship-building skills Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment Strong problem-solving skills with a resourceful, solutions-oriented approach Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with Applied Epic preferred, including familiarity with workflows Bachelor's degree or advanced education strongly preferred #IND123
