Description We are seeking a fully remote, War Hazard Claims Specialist, to assist with a long-term project for a large insurance client. The War Hazard Claims Specialist is responsible for managing, investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims arising from war-related risks and hazardous events. This role requires strong analytical and investigative skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a thorough understanding of insurance claims practices, policy language, and applicable regulatory requirements. The specialist will work closely with insureds, brokers, carriers, adjusters, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and service standards. Requirements Receive, review, investigate, and manage war hazard and war-related insurance claims from initial notification through final resolution. Analyze policy coverage, endorsements, exclusions, deductibles, limits, and applicable terms and conditions to determine coverage. Investigate the circumstances and causes surrounding losses, including damage or loss resulting from war, terrorism, hostile acts, civil unrest, or other covered hazards. Evaluate claim documentation, estimates, invoices, reports, photographs, and other supporting evidence. Coordinate with independent adjusters, surveyors, investigators, engineers, attorneys, and other experts as required. Assess liability, quantum, reserves, and potential exposure and make recommendations for appropriate claim resolution. Maintain accurate and comprehensive claim files and ensure timely documentation of all claim activity. The hourly salary range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00.
