In this role, you'll serve as the primary agency contact for clients during the claims process, helping coordinate communication, monitor claim progress, and advocate for a positive client experience. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact for clients, we'd love to hear from you. This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within Louisiana or Texas. Candidates also have the option to work in a hybrid or onsite capacity from one of RSL's office locations. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted resource for clients throughout the claims process. Assist clients in reporting claims and connecting with the appropriate carrier representatives. Help clients understand what to expect during the claims process and provide guidance on next steps. Monitor claim activity and follow up on status updates, service concerns, and communication gaps. Coordinate communication between clients, insurance carriers, producers, and account teams. Advocate for prompt, clear, and responsive communication on behalf of clients. Provide claim summaries and loss information to support account management and renewal discussions. Maintain accurate documentation within agency systems and carrier portals. Support agency team members with claim-related resources, education, and carrier contacts. Identify complex or high severity claims and escalate them appropriately. Skills & Experience 3+ years of insurance industry experience, preferably within an independent insurance agency. Experience in claims support, client service, account management, or a related role. Familiarity with commercial and personal lines insurance and Workers' Compensation claims is preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-oriented. Professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach to problem-solving. Comfortable using agency management systems, carrier portals, and Microsoft Office applications. Active insurance license or the ability to obtain and maintain licensing as required. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Valid driver's license when travel is required. Ability to maintain required licensing and continuing education requirements.
