Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Auto Claims Adjuster to join our team. This position is responsible for reviewing and adjudicating claims submitted under Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC). The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience in automotive repair, claims adjudication, or a related field. The Auto Claims Adjuster works closely with repair facilities, customers, and internal departments to ensure claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with contract coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in one or more of the following:
  • Automotive repair facility
  • Automotive dealership
  • Claims adjudication
  • Automotive service advising
  • Warranty administration
  • Mechanical diagnostics
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to interpret repair estimates and recommend appropriate claim decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and adjudicate Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) claims.
  • Answer incoming claims calls promptly while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Verify repair recommendations with repair facilities and ensure repairs are covered under the customer's contract.
  • Review labor times, parts pricing, and repair estimates to ensure accurate claim approvals.
  • Utilize industry resources and company systems to make fair and consistent claims decisions.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and detailed notes.
  • Manage workload efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  • Resolve customer and repair facility concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Escalate complex or unusual claims to management when appropriate.
  • Stay current on evolving automotive technology and repair procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, has a strong automotive background, communicates well with customers and repair facilities, and can make sound decisions while providing outstanding customer service. Experience in automotive mechanics, service advising, warranty administration, claims adjudication, or dealership service operations is highly desirable.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
