Full Job Description Description:
Kern Regional Center is one of 21 private, non-profit regional centers contracted by the State of California through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate community-based services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Kern Regional Center services over 10,000 individuals in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties. Our counties cover approximately 22,000 square miles with a population of over 945,000 people. The Compliance Manager plays a key supportive role in ensuring Kern Regional Center (KRC) meets agency-wide performance, transparency, and compliance standards., The Compliance Manager works collaboratively to support KRC's equity and compliance priorities, including the oversight of Department of Developmental Services (DDS) performance metrics. This position contributes to continuous improvement by coordinating internal compliance efforts and supporting departmental adherence to regulations, policies, and performance objectives.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Health Services Administration, Business Administration or Law or Criminal Justice or any related human services field from an accredited school. Or any combination of education and experience may be considered. Bilingual language fluency (Spanish/English) highly desired but not required.OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stay overnight to hold meetings and attend trainings when necessary. May be required to visit other locations.
