Miami Gardens, FL Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications Research Bachelor's degree Full Job Description The Director of Grants and Compliance shall be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of grants administration and ensuring organizational compliance with grantor requirements. This role involves overseeing the grant application process, monitoring grant expenditures, and reporting on grant activities. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies governing grant-funded projects. This role reports directly to the Executive Vice President & CFO.
Essential Functions:
Research funding opportunities and identify potential grants suitable for the organization's programs. Prepare and submit grant proposals and applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to grantor guidelines. Monitor the progress of awarded grants, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Maintain comprehensive records of all grant-related activities and documents. Interpret and implement policies, regulations, and procedures related to grant compliance. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to grant agreements and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement compliance monitoring plans and strategies. Prepare and submit regular financial and programmatic reports to grantors as required. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of expenditures and outcomes. Maintain documentation to support grant expenditures and compliance efforts. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that logically relate to the position
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven experience in grant writing, grant management, and compliance within a nonprofit or governmental organization. Strong understanding of federal, state, and private grant regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to fifty (50) pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours.
