Requisition Summary PACCAR's Corporate Emission Compliance team is looking for an Emissions Compliance Certification Manager to provide leadership in executing PACCAR's emissions compliance strategy across engine and vehicle programs. Job Functions/Responsibilities Manage PACCAR engine, powertrain and vehicle certification with EPA and CARB Oversee and prepare documentation, coordinating interpretations of regulatory requirements in certification plans. Lead staff in coordination with DAF's Homologation and Product Development teams and the PACCAR Technical Center to create and submit certification and running change documentation for PACCAR engines, powertrains and vehicles Manage Effectivity dates with engine and truck plants for MY Changeover Conduct engine and truck audits during MY Changeover Manage emissions compliance credit and production volume reporting for 90-, 180-, 270-day with EPA, CARB and ECCC for PACCAR powertrains and vehicles Work with Kenworth and Peterbilt Greenhouse Gas Teams, Safety and Compliance, Engineering, and Marketing teams to support GHG certification and compliance reporting for vehicles with EPA, CARB, ECCC and NHTSA Participate in meetings with EPA, CARB, NHTSA and ECCC staff Manage preparation and reporting of quarterly Credit Reserve Board meeting and memo Manage certification fee payments Manage engine and vehicle test exemptions approval, clearing and reporting to

Lead presentations for the PACCAR Emissions Compliance Review Board Maintain knowledge base and documentation of engine and vehicle emissions regulations Interact with technical and business stakeholders to disseminate information, educate, and support development of compliant business systems Represent PACCAR in associations such as Truck and Engine Manufacturers Association (EMA). Disseminate association information within PACCAR and develop PACCAR positions, in coordination with ECO management Supervise and develop the Emissions Compliance staff for the completion of all required tasks Qualifications 10+ years of related industry experience required Understanding of current diesel engine, zero emission powertrain and vehicle emission regulations desired Knowledge of CARB eFile, EPA EV-CIS and
ECCC CFR-CATS
preferred Understanding of heavy-duty diesel engine technology especially beneficial in the areas of emissions technologies (such as exhaust gas recirculation, SCR aftertreatment, and particulate filters) and emission test methods is helpful Awareness of heavy-duty truck fuel-efficiency technologies, such as aerodynamics, is helpful Content management and process experience preferred Applicants must be competent in use of personal computer software such as word processing, database, spreadsheet, and project management tools as well as PACCAR business systems, if an internal candidate Candidate should be resourceful in communicating complex technical issues in clear business and engineering terms, along with development of proposed solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Prior supervisory experience is a plus Benefits As a
