Minneapolis Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Compliance Engineer with strong experience in product approvals, certification processes, and hazardous location compliance standards. The ideal candidate will support product development teams by ensuring products meet global regulatory and performance requirements across industrial safety environments. Required Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of industry experience in approvals/compliance engineering Experience with product approvals testing and agency submissions Strong understanding of certification processes and compliance documentation Experience with hazardous location standards such as CSA, ATEX, and IECEx preferred Knowledge of product development lifecycle, sustaining engineering, and V&V testing preferred Experience supporting products used in hazardous environments preferred Key Responsibilities Interpret and apply applicable safety and performance standards to product designs Support product development teams in achieving global hazardous location compliance Develop certification strategies for new and existing products Create and execute compliance test plans and protocols Oversee testing activities and interpret test results according to industry and company standards Prepare technical documentation and reports to demonstrate regulatory compliance Coordinate agency submissions and support product certification activities Maintain certifications and assist with internal/external audits Record test results and generate detailed compliance reports Ensure products meet regulatory approval requirements throughout the product lifecycle
