The Quality & Regulatory Affairs Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating activities that support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards. This role involves managing document control, coordinating updates to policies, organizing team events and training. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Acts as a core member of the Quality Assurance and Product Safety Team, coordinating and facilitating team meetings, compliance updates, and off-site training and team activities
Tracks, analyzes, and reports on findings from internal, third-party, and regulatory inspections to identify compliance trends and drive corrective actions
Administers a comprehensive compliance training program for all animal food and fertilizer facilities, covering CGMPs, quality assurance policies, and other regulatory requirements
Administers the company's PCQI program, including managing employee certifications, maintaining qualification records, and ensuring ongoing training requirements are met
Partners with facility PCQIs and leadership to review, revise, and implement Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs), ensuring policies reflect the latest regulatory standards and best practices
Manages and enhances the document control system (e.g., SharePoint) for all quality and regulatory documentation, ensuring information is current, accessible, and secure
Maintains annual training and meeting calendars for the Quality Assurance and Product Safety Team Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Associates degree
2+ years of experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Successful applicants must be able to complete FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food (PCQI) certification
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint) Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food/feed safety certification programs
Experience with learning management systems
PCQI Certification
General knowledge of rendering processes, animal byproducts, and/or animal food ingredient processes
Highly organized; attention to detail; self-motivated
