Job Description
Developmental Services Director of Residential, Quality and Compliance:
Member of the developmental services leadership team, providing strategic oversight and leadership to the residential services programs. This position holds primary supervisory responsibility within Developmental Services and collaborates closely with Operations, Quality, and Compliance (OQC) teams to ensure coordinated, effective and compliant service delivery, attend staff meetings and have a supervisory line to them. This role is responsible for advancing the agency's strategic plan.Responsibilities:
Provide Supervision of Program Assistant Directors and Senior Managers Provides programmatic and clinical oversight for residential programs, workforce, compliance, budget and outcomes Quality assurance-will ensure all residential programs meet state and federal standards Participates in regular team meetings with OQC; maintains a dotted line supervisory relationship with OQC leadership Monitor compliance with internal and external audits, licensing reviews, and corrective action plans Representing Howard Center in various forums, committees, events, and initiatives both internal and external Shares in rotation of off-hours consult and back-up rotation for 24-hour care programs Maintain the oversight for best practice with training needs for staff Provide oversight of external Clinical Contracts related to services Acts as the liaison for Critical Incident Review and Reporting Provide support to Directors across the service system Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practiceRequirements:
Masters in a human services or related field preferred Five years of experience at a program director level in a human services field; proven supervisory and program oversight experience Strong written and oral communication skills, proven time and stress management skills are necessary Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving recordStructure:
Full-Time Travel within Chittenden County Exempt Annual salary starting at $88,538 We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experienceBenefits:
