About this opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive DOT Compliance Coordinator to join our compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet and incoming drivers adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will maintain, audit and update records for drug/alcohol testing administration and driver qualifications.
Schedule:
This position is Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The pay range is $18-$21/hour dependent on experience. This is a full time position that offers: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401k PTO Other Voluntary Insurances How will you contribute to the success of the team? Oversee driver medical qualifications in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Monitor expiration dates of DOT medical certificates and schedule accordingly. Maintain records of work restrictions and return-to-duty clearances. Communicate with other departments as needed with non-sensitive information. Maintain accurate records of all drug and alcohol tests for current fleet and incoming drivers. Ensure all information received is treated with confidentiality and documented appropriately. Skills Required Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to multi-task and set priorities Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft 365 Detail oriented and efficient minded The company will provide reasonable accommodations to employees who require them to perform the essential functions of their job to the extent it does not impose an undue hardship or create a risk of harm to the employee or others.
