Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established, growing, and privately held company! My client is looking for a International Trade Compliance Specialist to join their team. They have offices in the Las Vegas area and Irvine, CA. You will be responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with U.S. and international import/export regulations governing the movement of products, technology, software, and technical data. If you have experience in trade, import/export compliance and are looking for a long-term, rewarding role, this may be the job for you! The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience in export compliance, trade compliance, customs compliance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of:
Export Administration Regulations (EAR) Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) regulations Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) relating to technology Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications Import/export controls and documentation requirements Experience reviewing and processing End User Certifications and conducting end-user due diligence. Experience supporting exports and shipments into international markets, including the Middle East. Knowledge of technology product classifications and export controls applicable to hardware, software, and technical data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and related trade compliance software. Reside in the Las Vegas or Irvine area. Compensation offered Salary of $130,000-$160,000/year based on experience Benefit package offered, medical, dental, matching 401K. Life insurance, PTO and vacation.
