Analyze and apply federal and state regulatory frameworks governing company operations, including billing practices, revenue cycle management, financial reporting, accounts receivable processes, and compliance with U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) requirements associated with employment-based regulatory processes. Conduct comprehensive review and evaluation of client billing records, accounts receivable data, payment transactions, and financial documentation to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistency with contractual obligations and applicable legal standards across multiple industries, including transportation, healthcare-related services, logistics, and business services. Perform advanced legal and regulatory research to interpret statutes, administrative regulations, agency guidance, and compliance requirements affecting financial operations, payment processing support, reporting obligations, and documentation standards, and apply such interpretations to support operational compliance and risk mitigation. Prepare, review, and maintain detailed compliance documentation, internal records, analytical reports, and supporting materials to ensure audit readiness, regulatory transparency, and proper documentation of company practices in anticipation of regulatory review or inquiry. Collaborate with executive management to implement and integrate compliance controls within billing systems, financial workflows, revenue tracking processes, and reporting mechanisms, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. Identify, assess, and analyze compliance risks, discrepancies, and operational inefficiencies, and formulate recommendations for corrective action to strengthen internal controls, improve regulatory compliance, and enhance operational integrity. Analyze financial performance metrics, including receivables, revenue trends, and client account activity, to support data-driven decision-making and ensure alignment between financial reporting practices and regulatory obligations. Support internal audit functions and contribute to the development, standardization, and implementation of internal compliance policies, procedures, and documentation protocols designed to ensure continuous adherence to evolving regulatory requirements.
