Overview Join our team as a Firearms Associate, where your expertise will ensure the safe and compliant handling of firearms and related products. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining regulatory standards, supporting inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a secure and knowledgeable environment for both staff and customers. Duties Assist customers with firearm and ammunition selections, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and legal requirements Verify customer identification and eligibility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations Maintain accurate records of firearm transactions, including proper documentation for regulatory compliance Conduct routine inspections of firearms inventory to ensure safety standards are met and products are properly stored Stay informed on current ATF regulations and firearm-specific legal updates affecting sales and handling procedures Collaborate with team members to implement compliance management software for tracking inventory and regulatory documentation Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not required; a strong interest in firearms safety is essential Knowledge of ATF regulations Familiarity with regulatory compliance management software and data analysis skills will enhance your effectiveness in this role Demonstrated understanding of health regulation policies, drug regulation (if applicable), or risk management practices is advantageous Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality assurance and superior customer service This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in regulatory compliance within a safety-focused environment.
