Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The HAZMAT Analyst III validates and monitors adherence to environmental regulations and safety standards for the handling of hazardous items. They coordinate with Legal and Procurement Teams to ensure subcontracts meet all mandatory reporting and safety requirements. They approve technical documentation and permits required for the international movement of regulated materials. The HAZMAT Analyst III executes comprehensive compliance audits of regional logistics facilities to ensure alignment with theater-specific safety and legal mandates. They prepare detailed Risk Assessment Reports regarding the procurement and storage of hazardous substances in support of regional exercises. They oversee the development of standard operating procedures for HAZMAT documentation within the movement control cells. The HAZMAT Analyst III provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, Law, or a related field. 10+ years of position-relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education Professional-level HAZMAT Safety or Compliance certification. Midlevel Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Logistics, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of position-relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education Foundational certification in HAZMAT handling or environmental compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years of position-relevant experience. Experience performing compliance oversight for SOCPAC or USSOCOM missions. Proficiency in military environmental reporting systems.
Clearance Required:
Must hold an active Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
