Change lives along the way Isaiah House is Kentucky's largest nonprofit, Christ-centered addiction recovery organization. We provide evidence-based, holistic care to individuals battling substance use disorders. With a heart for transforming lives, we serve individuals and families across the Commonwealth through a full continuum of care, from residential treatment to outpatient services and recovery support. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Department. Reporting to the Compliance Director, this position is pivotal in maintaining organizational integrity through regulatory adherence, audits, investigations and policy and procedure. This is an entry-level position and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to jumpstart start their career in Compliance. Responbilities include but are not limited to:
Policy & Governance:
Draft, update, and implement organizational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the
Code of Conduct Auditing & Monitoring:
Assist with internal compliance audits, risk assessments, and monitoring activities to identify operational gaps
Regulatory Tracking:
Monitor changes in relevant federal, state, and local laws/accreditation standards and assess their operational impact
Training & Education:
Assist in building and delivering compliance training materials and modules for staff and management
Reporting & Investigations:
Track compliance metrics, investigate potential policy violations or hotline reports, and draft investigation reports
External Audits & Filings:
Assist with external regulatory surveys and third-party audits Other tasks required for compliance activities as determined by Compliance leadership
Requirements Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field 2-5 years of direct experience in healthcare in a corporate/administrative role preferred Willingness to obtain and maintain proficiency in Isaiah House policy, procedures, and programs Excellence in key soft skills: attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, professionalism, organization
Physical Requirements:

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30pm or other regular office hours as determined by supervisor
