Job Title:
Senior Analyst, Governance, Risk, and Compliance Location:
Cary, North Carolina (On-Site)
Job Summary:
We are representing a company seeking a detail-oriented professional to support governance, risk, and compliance activities across contract, regulatory, cyber, and third-party risk areas. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to control effectiveness, audit readiness, and continuous improvement in a role that supports enterprise risk awareness and compliance excellence.
Responsibilities:
Review client contract provisions related to data security, breach reporting, cyber resilience, and compliance certifications. Support certification and audit activities by collecting documentation and evidence from control owners and peer teams. Contribute to policy, standards, metrics, and process improvements that strengthen governance and cyber risk management. Assist with third-party risk assessments, security requirements review, internal audit support, and risk treatment plan monitoring.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Information Security, or a related field. 7-10 years of experience in GRC executing or auditing against standards, frameworks, and industry regulations. Demonstrated experience supporting GRC functions for global companies. Solid proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and frameworks, with familiarity in NIST CSF and supporting SP's, ISO 27001, and
AICPA SOC.
Working knowledge of cyber and privacy laws and regulations, along with a solid understanding of information security principles and concepts. Strong collaboration with IT teams and a strong desire to create task and functional efficiencies through the use of technology and tools, especially GenAI.
