Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance:
Monitor and help ensure compliance with applicable U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and other transportation regulations.Recordkeeping:
Maintain and update compliance files, driver records, and regulatory documentation, including commercial driver's licenses (CDLs), medical cards, and driving records.Driver Compliance:
Assist with driver onboarding, track driver and warehouse staff training, review hours-of-service records in Samsara, and monitor unassigned driving activity.Reporting:
Run and distribute weekly reports.Maintenance Support:
Enter maintenance data into Samsara and track annual inspections.Additional Support:
Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
At least two years of experience in compliance, human resources, or transportation operations.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use compliance software and create accurate reports. Familiarity with the Samsara electronic logging device (ELD) system is a plus.Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and discretion when handling sensitive information.Knowledge:
Familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, includingDOT/FMCSA
requirements, licensing, and tax permits.Details Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.Pay:
$20.00-$22.00 per hourPosition:
Full-time, non-exempt, hourlyBenefits:
