Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AS9100 Compliance Specialist to join our quality assurance team within the aerospace manufacturing sector. This pivotal role involves ensuring that our organization adheres strictly to the AS9100 standard, which is an internationally recognized quality management system specific to the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of quality standards, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality management systems. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain AS9100 quality management systems across all operational departments. Conduct internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with
AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and other relevant standards. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for non-conformances identified during audits or inspections. Ensure adherence to regulatory and legal standards. Facilitate training sessions on quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for staff at all levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to embed quality assurance into daily operations. Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality audits, inspection reports, and compliance records. Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma methodologies and lean management principles. Oversee supplier qualification processes ensuring suppliers meet specified quality standards. Analyze data from quality control inspections and testing procedures to identify trends and areas for process enhancement. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within aerospace or highly regulated industries. Extensive knowledge of AS9100 standards, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other relevant regulatory frameworks. Certified AS9100 Internal Auditor. Strong background in quality audits, quality control procedures, and implementing quality systems. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across departments. Proficiency in analysis skills related to root cause investigation and process optimization. Experience applying Six Sigma manufacturing techniques to improve process efficiency and product quality. Proficiency in quality tools (PFEMA, control plans, SPC, 8D) and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and customer requirements. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance tracking. Knowledge of QA/QC practices within manufacturing environments emphasizing regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
