The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a high volume of tenant repair requests and complaints , coordinating repairs, following up with tenants and vendors, and assisting with compliance matters involving NYC and local government agencies. Responsibilities Answer and manage a large volume of tenant repair requests, complaints, and service calls. Coordinate and follow up on tenant repairs from initial complaint through completion. Communicate professionally and effectively with tenants, building staff, contractors, and management. Maintain accurate records of repair requests, work orders, violations, and follow-up activities. Assist with HPD violation compliance , including tracking violations and coordinating necessary repairs and documentation. Have general knowledge of requirements and procedures involving other city agencies, including: NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) NYC Department of Health NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) NYC Housing Preservation & Development (HPD) Coordinate access to apartments and follow up with tenants when access is required. Follow up consistently with contractors and building staff to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner. Monitor outstanding items and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Assist the Repairs/Compliance Department with administrative and organizational responsibilities. Prioritize multiple urgent matters in a fast-paced property management environment. Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish - required. Previous experience in property management, real estate, repairs, compliance, or a related field preferred. Some knowledge of NYC HPD violations and compliance requirements preferred. Familiarity with NYC DOB, Department of Health, and Department of Sanitation requirements is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and exceptional follow-up. Ability to handle a high volume of calls and requests while remaining professional and organized. Strong computer and administrative skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently. Must be dependable, responsive, and able to work effectively in a very busy environment. Position Full-Time -
