POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for overall coordination of the credentialing application and verification process and support the function of the Medical Staff Department services. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1. Able to take minutes.
  • 2. Demonstrates computer literacy; knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, etc.
  • 3. Good organizational and communication skills.
  • 4. High energy necessary, must be able to handle multi-tasks.
  • 5. Must be able and have transportation between facilities

6. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHSs Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE

High school diploma or equivalent, required; 5 years of administrative, credentialing, or healthcare experience, required or Associates degree or higher education with 2 years of administrative, credentialing, or healthcare experience, required. (CPCS) Certification Provider Credentialing Specialist Certification desired.
