Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a DOT/HSE Oilfield Operations Specialist, where you will be at the forefront of ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency within our oilfield logistics and operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee transportation safety regulations, manage regulatory compliance, and coordinate complex supply chain activities in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help maintain the highest standards of safety and regulatory adherence while supporting seamless global trade operations. Duties Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, and transportation safety protocols across all oilfield operations. Manage logistics workflows, including freight handling, customs brokerage, and import/export management, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and FDA regulations where applicable. Oversee customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating smooth border crossings for equipment and materials. Utilize global trade management software and Excel data analysis tools to monitor shipment statuses, generate regulatory reports, and optimize supply chain efficiency. Develop and implement risk management strategies related to transportation safety, regulatory compliance management, and export/import procedures. Coordinate with freight carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery while maintaining strict adherence to logistics compliance standards. Prepare detailed reports on regulatory compliance activities, risk assessments, and trade documentation to support corporate governance and regulatory reporting requirements. Requirements Proven knowledge of OSHA standards, transportation safety regulations, and logistics compliance requirements within the oilfield industry. Experience managing customs brokerage processes and ensuring customs regulations compliance for international shipments. Strong understanding of global trade management software systems and import/export procedures aligned with international trade regulations. Proficiency in Excel data analysis for tracking shipments, analyzing logistics data, and generating comprehensive reports. Familiarity with Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, export management practices, and trade compliance standards. Ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks such as FDA regulations related to imported materials or equipment. Excellent report writing skills with a focus on regulatory reporting, risk management documentation, and compliance records. $53,798.71 - $64,789.84 per year
