Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Credit Manager to lead our credit and risk assessment operations. In this vital role, you will oversee credit analysis, manage client portfolios, ensure compliance with lending regulations, and develop strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize risk. Your expertise in financial analysis, commercial lending, and industry regulations will drive informed decision-making and support our company's continued growth. Duties Develop and implement credit policies that adhere to financial compliance requirements while balancing risk and opportunity. Negotiate terms with clients to secure favorable agreements while maintaining strong professional relationships. Monitor portfolio performance through data collection, financial modeling, and quantitative research to identify potential risks or fraud indicators. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as accounting, finance, and legal to ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices in commercial lending. Qualifications Proven experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or lending within financial services or banking sectors. Strong knowledge of financial statement interpretation, financial concepts, and risk analysis techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and financial modeling. Familiarity with financial software tools used for loan processing, portfolio management, and fraud detection. Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
