Credit Manager Service In Raleigh, NC Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $75,000 a year 10 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Research Attention to detail Problem-solving Organizational skills ACH Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Credit Manager to take ownership of our accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, payment reconciliation, and insurance credentialing/compliance processes. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership and responsibility . The ideal candidate will not simply process invoices or make collection calls—they will be responsible for developing and maintaining the systems, processes, reporting, and accountability necessary to keep our receivables current and our company financially and operationally compliant. The Credit Manager will work closely with leadership, operations, clients, vendors, contractors, and third-party billing platforms to ensure invoices are submitted accurately and on time, payments are properly received and reconciled, overdue balances are aggressively managed, and all required insurance and credentialing documentation remains current. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable & Collections Own the company's accounts receivable process from invoice creation/submission through payment and reconciliation. Monitor outstanding receivables and maintain accurate aging reports. Proactively follow up on past-due invoices and outstanding balances. Establish and maintain collection procedures and follow-up schedules. Communicate professionally and effectively with clients regarding outstanding balances, payment status, discrepancies, and account questions. Research and resolve payment discrepancies and disputed invoices. Escalate significant collection issues to leadership with clear documentation and recommended next steps. Maintain accurate customer account records. Invoicing & Third-Party Billing Platforms Prepare, review, and submit invoices accurately and within required deadlines. Manage invoicing through client-specific and third-party billing portals. Correct rejected invoices and resolve submission issues. Payment Processing & Reconciliation Process and record incoming ACH, check, and other payments. Deposit checks and maintain accurate records of deposits. Reconcile payments against outstanding invoices and customer accounts. Research unidentified or unapplied payments. Coordinate with internal accounting/finance resources to ensure financial records remain accurate. Assist with bank and payment reconciliations as needed. Maintain appropriate documentation and audit trails for financial transactions. Accounts Payable & Payment Reconciliation Assist with accounts payable-related processes as needed. Reconcile ACH and check payments. Review payment documentation for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment discrepancies. Help maintain accurate vendor payment records. Purchase Order Management Monitor and manage customer purchase orders. Maintain accurate documentation related to POs and billing requirements. Insurance Credentialing & Compliance Take ownership of insurance credentialing and compliance requirements. Maintain current certificates of insurance (COIs), policy information, expiration dates, and other required documentation. Monitor insurance requirements for clients, vendors, contractors, and/or service providers as applicable. Coordinate collection and submission of required insurance documentation. Maintain credentialing records and ensure documentation remains current. Monitor upcoming expirations and proactively obtain renewals. Ensure compliance documentation is submitted through client/vendor portals when required. Resolve credentialing and compliance issues that could delay work, invoicing, or payment. The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely organized, financially minded, persistent, analytical, and comfortable holding people accountable. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit management, collections, billing, accounting, or a related field. Experience managing commercial accounts receivable. Experience with collections and aging reports. Experience with ACH and check processing/reconciliation. Experience with purchase orders and client billing requirements. Experience with insurance credentialing, COIs, vendor compliance, or similar documentation. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of organization and attention to detail.

$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
