Senior Credit Manager

Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Credit Manager in [Location]. This individual will lead credit, collections, and customer risk management functions across a multi-location organization. They will evaluate customer credit applications, establish credit limits, assess financial risk, and develop credit approval frameworks. The Senior Credit Manager will oversee collections activities, monitor aging reports, manage retainage balances, and support lien and bond claim processes when needed. They will partner with finance, operations, and branch leadership teams to improve customer onboarding, credit decisions, and risk mitigation strategies. This person will also lead and develop a team of credit and collections professionals, implement standardized policies and procedures, establish reporting and KPIs, and support integration efforts for acquired businesses. Skills and Requirements 7+ years of credit and collections experience 3+ years managing credit, collections, or accounts receivable teams Experience within construction, building materials, specialty distribution, industrial distribution, or contracting industries Knowledge of construction contracts, retainage, lien rights, bond claims, and payment protection processes Experience reviewing financial statements and assessing customer credit risk Experience in the construction industry Experience supporting multi-location or nationwide operations Experience working in a private equity-backed company Experience integrating acquisitions or standardizing processes across multiple business units Experience with large commercial construction projects and high-credit-exposure customers Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and credit management software
