SUMMARY A
Credit Manager oversees the credit granting process, manages accounts receivable, and ensures compliance with company and legal policies. They evaluate credit risks, develop strategies to minimize losses, and may supervise a team of credit and collections staff. Responsibilities include managing credit limits, credit exposure, and customer collections.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Evaluate potential customers' creditworthiness Approve or reject credit limit requests from customers Monitor customers' credit exposure Create a credit scoring model to assess risks Customer collections and communication Provide monthly credit reports to Management WORK ENVIRONMENT and

Environment General Business Office environment Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on occasion. Education, Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience required. 5 years of applicable work experience in a general financial accounting or credit department role. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
Required Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
