Responsibilities:
Builds and owns frontline sales training program across branch and contact center channels. Develops and customizes sales training curriculum with L&D partners and vendors to ensure clear architecture, role-specific content, and practical tools that support on-the-job application. Develops and executes implementation plans for training rollouts. Works with department leadership, partnering with retail leaders to diagnose performance gaps, design curriculum, and plan program rollouts. Leads program strategy and implementation planning, managing external training vendors and coordinating with frontline leadership Ensures adoption, training delivery, and coaching. Future opportunity to build and lead a team while retaining strategic program ownership. Conducts frontline needs assessments to identify sales and service capability gaps. Analyzing performance data and translating findings into clear learning objectives and curriculum requirements. Supervises, coaches, and develops the sales training team, including performance management and professional development. Manages external training vendor relationships and performance. Establishes performance-based success metrics and skill assessments for training programs, tracks training outcomes, and measures business impact. Delivers one-on-one and group coaching for frontline employees, observing interactions and providing structured feedback to reinforce skill application and drive behavior change. Facilitates training programs and skill-building sessions across multiple channels and learner populations, supporting full implementation of training rollouts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience on a formal training and development team. Five or more years of professional experience including all the following: Sales or service training delivery in a branch, retail, or contact center environment Sales training performance coaching for skill development program management or training operations Training, instructional design, or curriculum development One or more years of experience supervising staff, or leading cross-functional projects or programs required. Intermediate proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and training delivery platforms required. Professional training, instructional design, or curriculum development experience preferred. Association for Talent Development (ATD) certification, such as CPTD or APTD, preferred. Three or more years of experience in a credit union or regulated financial services environment preferred.
