We value talent, drive, and a customer-centered mindset. This is an in-office role out of our Kent WA headquarters. In this role, you'll be at the center of our credit operations, evaluating trade credit applications, determining creditworthiness, and protecting the company's financial health. Drawing on financial statements, credit scores, cash flow analysis, and collateral data, you'll assign risk ratings and deliver thorough assessments that drive smart credit decisions. Reporting to the Director of Credit, Collections, and A/R, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to streamline account set-ups and maintenance, while handling sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a deep understanding of each applicant's business and financial profile, your analysis directly shapes the company's credit decisions. Gather and analyze credit applicant financial data to evaluate risk and assess creditworthiness. Protect the business by flagging and escalating suspected fraudulent credit applications/requests. Stay on top of a dynamic pipeline, manage follow-ups, prioritize effectively, and consistently deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Manage collections for a strategic set of accounts. Support a high volume of internal and external requests by following a defined credit strategy. Respond to incoming calls, emails, voicemails, and online requests. Document activity and customer interactions details in Salesforce. Identify and report any financial exposure to the Director of Credit, Collections, and A/R. ABILITIES
Three (3) or more years of customer service and business to business credit/collections experience is required. Experience in finance or accounting to understand the customer's financial position and operating results. Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with coworkers and influence customers. Strong customer service and negotiation skills and proven ability to develop strong customer relationships. Quick learner with demonstrated critical thinking skills used to analyze information and solve problems. Able to work independently and effectively prioritize work. Experience with Microsoft Office, Sage 100 ERP, Salesforce, Nextiva, Salesforce, Bectran, Experian, NACM is a plus.
