Job Locations US-MS-Tupelo Overview The Central Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for monitoring loans where the primary source of repayment is the conversion of assets to ensure compliance with bank loan, credit and compliance policies, and monitoring for credit quality. Specifically, this will include monitoring of loans primarily for the purpose of construction, accounts receivable lines, and other high-risk collateral types.

Responsibilities Monitor loans based on collateral types to ensure they perform on all levels of credit: To determine that the credit is properly documented/secured To determine that loan policy is followed To determine if credit files are properly maintained To determine the credit quality of the loans monitored To determine that the credit is properly documented for compliance policies Discuss credit with Relationship Manager and/or Senior Credit Officer to obtain additional information and determine if there are other important matters related to the credit that should be considered for monitoring Track findings via document exceptions and covenant records within the bank's applicable systems Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance is preferred Minimum of 2 years of underwriting, loan documentation, or loan operations experience required General knowledge or ability to learn and ability to use bank related software A willingness and ability to learn credit terminology, forms, loan documents, legal documents, and bank lending policies and procedures Ability to deal effectively with the personnel of other bank departments Good communication skills Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
