Job Description
First National Bank of Nokomis is seeking a Loan Officer to join our team at our Arthur IL location. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining loans for various purposes. The schedule would be Monday through Friday 8-4 and every other Saturday 8-Noon. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develops, manages, and grows loans. Maintains low loan delinquency and ensures that there are no administrative past due loans. Communicates timely and in a comprehensive manner with their supervisor concerning any credit that is experiencing stress. Solicits new customers and negotiates rates and loan terms (for both new and renewal loans) in a competitive and price sensitive environment. Analyzes customer credit applications; balance sheets and profit and loss statement; and cash flow projections to make sound loan decisions and predict future repayment capacity. Make recommendations to the loan committee on new and renewal loans. Coordinate with loan processors and underwriters to facilitate the loan approval process Maintain knowledge of current lending guidelines and regulations Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, addressing any questions or concerns that may arise Participates as a member of various Bank committees as assigned. Represents the Bank and provides leadership in key community activities and committees. Completed required training associated with job function. Performs related duties as assigned.
