  • High School diploma
  • One to three years related experience
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written (other duties may be assigned)
  • Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a courteous and professional manner providing prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
  • Originate, process, underwrite, close and disburse loans Evaluate applications and documentation including credit reports Decision applications and communicate decisions to members in a polite and courteous manner via various communication channels Complete loan contracts and paperwork obtaining signatures, notarizations as necessary ensuring members understands the documentation.
  • Actively cross-sell products
  • Perfect liens, title filings, collateral insurance, etc.
  • Process paid off loans and collateral releases
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan document files including scanning and audit
  • Provide in-person and by-telephone general and specific service-related information concerning credit union products or policies
  • Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files, and provide members with all necessary information for membership including certificates and IRA's
  • Assist members in balancing their accounts The primary functions and responsibilities of this position will be more lending focused than operations focused, but this position is intended to be cross-functional.
The person in this position should be comfortable and capable of serving operations needs as well, such as opening accounts, processing card orders, and as needed, filling in as a MSA/Teller.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
