Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cargo Agent to join our team. As a Cargo Agent, you will be responsible for handling and managing cargo shipments in a warehouse environment. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Build and prepare cargo shipments for transportation
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload cargo
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying shipment contents and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of cargo to ensure proper handling and secure packaging
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 70 pounds.
