This position is responsible for preparing and processing U.S. Customs entries, reviewing import documentation, communicating with customers and government agencies, and helping ensure shipments are cleared accurately and on time. We are looking for someone with solid hands-on customs entry experience who is comfortable handling different types of entries, including shipments regulated by the FDA and other Participating Government Agencies (PGA) . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries accurately and in a timely manner. Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, arrival notices, and other import documentation. Verify entry information, classification, valuation, country of origin, and other required data. Handle entries involving FDA and other Participating Government Agencies (PGA) . Communicate with customers, carriers, terminals, U.S. Customs, and other government agencies regarding entry status or documentation issues. Monitor shipments and follow up on holds, releases, exams, or other clearance-related matters. Maintain complete and accurate customs records. Assist in resolving entry discrepancies and compliance-related issues. Support day-to-day customs brokerage operations and customer service needs. Requirements Minimum 4 years of U.S. Customs entry experience . Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs entry procedures and import documentation. Experience handling FDA and PGA-regulated shipments . Mandarin Chinese required . Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with customs brokerage systems and Microsoft Office. U.S. Customs Broker License preferred, but not required.
Pay:
$31.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
