Key Responsibilities Customs data entry — Input HTS codes, product descriptions, quantities, and values into our system with high accuracy. Document review — Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, arrival notices, and ISF details. Entry preparation support — Assist with compiling data for 7501/3461 submissions. Carrier coordination — Communicate with steamship lines, CFS stations, and truckers regarding availability and holds. Compliance checks — Ensure data aligns with CBP, FDA, USDA, and other agency requirements. Release follow‑up — Track cargo status, monitor holds, and update internal teams. Internal communication — Provide clear updates to the operations team regarding entry status and exceptions. Qualifications Import operations experience preferred (1-2 years). Familiarity with HTS classification, CBP requirements, and basic customs terminology. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with time‑sensitive shipments. Comfortable working with carriers, brokers, and warehouse partners. Proficient in data entry, Excel, and logistics platforms (CargoWise, Descartes, or similar).
