We're a full-service Customs Broker, International Freight Forwarder, and Logistics Specialist supporting every phase of international transportation.

www.coppersmith.com We're looking for a Licensed Customs Brokerage professional to join our El Segundo team. If you know imports, enjoy solving real-time shipping challenges, and want to work with a team that values accuracy, customer care, and practical problem-solving, this role could be a great match. You'll support multiple customer accounts and help manage the full import process from start to finish, including FDA-related shipments. Manage multiple customer accounts and keep shipments on track from A to Z, including FDA requirements Support customs classifications, ISF filings, CBP requirements, and international documentation compliance

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Coordinate cargo releases with carriers, CBP, and other government agencies while keeping compliance top of mind Track incoming shipments, monitor ETAs, and help arrange cargo pick-up and transfers Prepare import documentation, classifications, and CBP submissions Process ISF filings and help confirm release status with customs Assist with tariff classifications for imported goods Keep customers informed with clear, proactive communication by phone, email, fax, or in person Jump in on other tasks and projects as needed to support the team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma or equivalent Licensed Customs Broker At least 3 years of U.S. Customs Brokerage experience FDA-regulated import experience preferred Working knowledge of import documents such as Arrival Notices, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Harmonized Tariff codes CargoWise experience Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications Organized, detail-focused, and able to balance multiple priorities A team-first mindset and willingness to collaborate Good judgment, strong follow-through, and a customer-service approach Clear communication skills and comfort working with customers and internal teams
