The Role We're looking for a tech-curious analyst who's already comfortable experimenting with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok, managed agents/bots, and wants to apply that experience to a real, operating business.

Your mission:

study how our operations team actually gets work done day to day, then find and build the AI/automation tools that make our people more efficient. You will be researching, testing, and building, not just observing. What You'll Do Shadow operations (freight forwarding, customs, compliance, accounting, etc.) staff to map how work actually flows and pinpoint where time is lost to manual, repetitive tasks. Identify processes well-suited for AI assistance, such as document classification and data extraction, status update drafting, or routine client email responses. Research AI tools and agent frameworks — LLM-based assistants, AI-powered document processing, workflow agents — that could plug into or complement how our team already works and build working prototypes. Work closely with compliance staff so any automation respects CBP requirements. Track and report the efficiency gained from each idea — time saved per task, fewer manual touches, faster turnaround — so leadership can prioritize what to build next. What We're Looking For 0-2 years of experience, or a recent/soon-to-be graduate — no logistics or trade background required, we'll train you on the customs brokerage side. Real hands-on experience with AI chat or agent tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or similar) — coursework, personal projects, or prior jobs all count. Comfortable learning new software quickly — you'll need to get familiar with the systems our team uses well enough to spot automation opportunities. A self-starter who can research unfamiliar tools and work through problems without much hand-holding. Strong written communication — you'll be documenting workflows and presenting recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive client and compliance information. Nice to Have Familiarity with OCR, document-processing AI, or data extraction tools. Experience with prompt engineering or building simple AI agents/workflows.
