Full Job Description Job Overview:

Freight Forwarding Company is seeking Customs Broker to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. In this role, s/he will deliver excellent customer service while ensuring all import and export activities are handled with accuracy and full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations. $75-95

K/year Key Responsibilities:

Classify imported goods in accordance with the HTSUS Utilize ACE Portal for applicable functions such as AES filings, protests, and other regulatory activities Maintain compliance with U.S. customs laws and regulations Communicate with CBP and other government agencies (FDA, USDA, etc.) Oversee CTPAT procedures and TSA requirements Advise clients and internal teams on customs-related matters Review and maintain customs documentation and records Train and mentor junior operations and import team members Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends

Qualifications/Requirements:

Active U.S. Customs Broker License (required) Minimum 3 years of experience in a customs brokerage or freight forwarding role Strong knowledge of HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin rules Familiarity with ACE Portal, CTPAT, TSA documentation, and other customs software platforms Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service skills
