This role will be responsible for preparing and submitting required Customs documentation, ensuring compliance with FTZ regulations, and partnering closely with internal teams and warehouse personnel to maintain accurate reporting and inventory control. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of FTZ processes, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
YOURS TASKS
Prepare and file daily admission forms (pre 214 & concurrence) Completion and submission of required Customs forms 3461, 7501 and 7512 Coordinate in-bond movements from port and arrival of in-bonds Collaboration with internal teams and systems to manage inbound & outbound products Monitor inventory and ensure proper reporting Assist in troubleshooting discrepancies, and report as necessary Build & maintain relationship with FTZ / warehouse personnel to ensure policies & procedures are followed Conduct compliance & FTZ training for employees Assist Manager in working with U.S. Customs during on-site audits Assist Manager in preparation of annual reports to U.S. Customs & the FTZ Board Validate FTZ data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of integration and information Conduct reviews of transactions and processes and make recommendations on improvements Routinely update and report to direct management concerning activities related to the Foreign-Trade Zone. Process and verify FTZ related data & maintain proper record keeping required for management of the FTZ. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in FTZ operations, import/export compliance, or customs brokerage. In-depth knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, 19 CFR Part 146, and FTZ procedures. Experience with FTZ software (e.g., SAP GTS, QAD, or similar) preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams. Customs Specialist or related certification (e.g., LCB, CCS) is preferred. Additional Information Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay. 401(k) with company matching up to 6%.
