Commensurate with experience + benefits Position type: Direct Hire, FT On-site The Brokerage Supervisor performs all duties correctly and in compliance with all government regulations and is responsible for supervision and control of all US Customs related activities of the department. This role offers growth to CHB Manager in the near future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and mentor team members on an ongoing basis
  • Filing accurate and timely entries, have timely dispatch of cargo and follow up regarding proof of delivery, and ensure timely and accurate billing for both team and personal accounts
  • Understand all departmental functions
  • i.e. billing, Customs compliance, ISF, etc.
  • Ensure customer SOP's, U.S. government agency regulations, Corporate standards and SOP's are adhered to
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complicated operational and billing issues
  • Demonstrate solid decision-making skills and an ability to prioritize ever-changing daily tasks
  • Delegate tasks, workloads and project work within the team
  • Attend customer meetings and maintain assigned customer relationships; maximize opportunities to improve customer service and business opportunities
  • Execute team entry and billing audits to ensure accuracy and assess training needs Required Skills
  • Excellent current knowledge of US Customs Brokerage requirements.
  • Excellent computer literacy including CargoWise and MS products
  • CHB License Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $80,000.00
  • $90,000.
