The Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling international freight processes and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of air and ocean import operations , including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking. Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth cargo handling and timely deliveries. Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations. Monitor shipment milestones, proactively addressing any delays or issues to meet client expectations. Work closely with customs brokers to ensure compliance with all regulations. Maintain accurate records in the company's system and ensure timely invoicing. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in air and ocean import operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry. Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures. Proficiency in freight forwarding software; familiarity with CargoWise is a plus.
