JOB OPENING - CUSTOMS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and committed individual to join our team in Laredo, Texas.

Requirements:

Proven experience preparing and processing customs entries (pedimentos). Knowledge of Shipper's Export Declarations and AES filing. Experience using the SLAM system. Experience controlling warehouse merchandise and inventory. Knowledge of import and export documentation. Proficiency in Excel and administrative systems. Availability to work Saturdays when required. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to follow instructions, comply with procedures, and work under supervision. Must be responsible, punctual, organized, proactive, and dependable. Ability to manage and follow up on multiple operations simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare and follow up on customs entries. Prepare and manage Shipper's Export Declarations. Enter and manage information in SLAM. Control warehouse inventory, receipts, and releases. Review and organize customs documentation. Track import and export shipments. Prepare operational reports. Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers.
