About the Role Join our dynamic team as a Customs Entry Writer, where you'll play an important role in facilitating international trade by ensuring smooth customs clearance for our valued clients' shipments. In this position, you'll leverage your expertise in U.S. Customs regulations to process import documentation, such as Customs entries and inbonds. Key Responsibilities Process and file U.S. Customs entries and inbond documentation Ensure compliance with CBP regulations and Partner Government Agency (PGA) requirements Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and customs officials to resolve clearance issues Support the company's commitment to outstanding customer service and compliance excellence Core Skills, Competencies & Requirements Minimum of 2 years working in U.S. Customs Brokerage industry Must have experience with Section 232 Tariffs on Steel and Aluminum Experience processing Post Summary Corrections Exceptional attention to detail with ability to spot and prevent compliance issues Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly Outstanding customer service skills Ability to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment Self-motivation and problem-solving mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite English & Spanish language skills highly valued (verbal & written) High School diploma or G.E.D. required Team Environment Collaborative team environment with opportunities to develop customs expertise Fast-paced setting handling time-sensitive international shipments for diverse clients Monday to Friday schedule (9:00am-6:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm) Occasional weekend coverage (approximately 12 hours per month) on a rotating schedule Why Join Us Competitive pay starting at $19.00 per hour Comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with profit sharing Generous PTO plan that values work-life balance Supportive team culture that rewards expertise and initiative Opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio and develop specialized expertise If you're detail-oriented and have a passion for international trade compliance, we want to hear from you!
