Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Air Import Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. The Airfreight team will communicate directly with customers, overseas agents, airlines, terminal operators, trucking companies, as well as other V. Alexander departments on a daily basis. Additionally, this position will have regular communication with our customers making excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a must. The airfreight team will put together quotes, track & trace of inbound shipments, collect required documents, work with Entry to arrange customs clearance, issue delivery orders, organize last mile delivery, and arrange customer billing. The airfreight team will often require flexible working hour and coverage on some weekends. This position is high in pace and visibility and would be a great opportunity for any candidates who are up to a challenge and eager to grow within the organization. Duties Request pricing and routing options from overseas agent Provide routing/ booking instructions to overseas agent- either phone or email. Quotes- issuing airfreight quotes via CW1 Track cargo on airline website and liaising with overseas agent. Maintain and send status updates to customers/other parties. Request and gather commercial and shipping documents. Coordinate Customs exams when required Work with the entry department to ensure customs release Invoice file within 7 days of Customs Clearance Tracking trucking/ final delivery. Secure POD (if required).
