ABOUT THE ROLE
D&G is in search of dynamic, independent, self-starter Account Director with strong strategic, client management and creative instincts. Specifically, the role is to lead a portion of the integrated team collaborating closely with the other Account Directors on projects and team oversight. This person should thrive in a fast-paced work environment and champion creative with clients to ensure successful campaigns that meet the business objectives. This position reports to the Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management Understands the client's business, key contacts, organization structures, processes, and business plans Anticipates client needs, identifies solutions, acts in the client's best interest to increase the value of service Sets client expectations and ensures timely and on-target deliverables throughout the project lifecycle Oversees timelines, client feedback and communication flows Manages budgets, oversees scope, ensures profitable delivery of services and client satisfaction Integrates with account teams to ensure consistent branding Passion for fast paced creative & production heavy account Strategic Leadership and Contribution to "Ideas that Grow Brands" Understands the marketing landscape & aligns innovative tactics with client objectives Develops sound strategies across deliverables (tv, print, OOH, brochures, digital, web, social) & mobile platforms given target, brand and competitive insights Maintains thought leadership, watches trends, and applies thinking towards client ROI Understands branding and integrated marketing principles Analyzes campaign data and draws actionable insights to optimize results Leads brainstorms, contributes Big Ideas, and collaborates with internal team members Represents the agency in cross-agency partner meetings as thought leader, garnering action from partner agencies as needed Account and Business Development Develops client relationships & identifies opportunities to add value to client's business Develops proposals and presents ideas and plans Establishes meaningful measures of the agency's impact on the client's business Mentors team and promotes growth opportunities to retain employees
QUALIFICATIONS
8-10+ years account management experience in an agency environment or equivalent client-side marketing experience 6-8+ years experience working on integrated marketing campaigns with extensive production experience Video Submission Link (1 min. max); show us why you're brave! We're not looking for the highest quality editing, just good content. The role is based in Los Angeles, CA and CA candidates only.
Please note:
This role requires someone to be onsite in the D&G office 3 days per week — Tuesdays , Wednesdays and Thursdays. Some on-set production and occasional travel may also be required.
