Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting, you'll be a trusted partner to the CFO, external auditors, and cross-functional business teams navigating the evolving accounting landscape. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical depth and business judgment — someone who can read a complex standard, translate it into policy, and drive enterprise-wide implementation. What You'll Do Lead technical accounting research on complex transactions, new standards (ASC 606, 842, 350, etc.), and emerging issues — producing clear, defensible position memos Own the company's accounting policy framework: draft, update, and operationalize policies across the enterprise Partner with Legal, FP&A, M&A, and business unit leaders on deal structuring, revenue recognition, business combinations, and other non-routine transactions Serve as primary liaison with external auditors — manage the technical accounting workstream, lead footnote disclosure reviews, and respond to comment letters Oversee SOX compliance for technical accounting controls: maintain process narratives, execute walkthroughs, and coordinate control testing Drive implementation of new
